I fell upon an article today on the website of The Atlanta Post that was about the psychology of luxury brands and it's affects on black people. A study was done in Jerusalem that stated when individuals were given a luxury branded product individuals began to read better, listen better and began to do better in life. I don't this affect influences one race, people all over the world are affected by the status you receive when owning a luxury handbag, watch or car. This article is an interesting read but I believe if a person wants to be successful and educated they will not worry much about the status quo, but will study more and try to succeed which ever way possible.
