The Luxurious Affect

I fell upon an article today on the website of The Atlanta Post that was about the psychology of luxury brands and it's affects on black people. A study was done in Jerusalem that stated when individuals were given a luxury branded product individuals began to read better, listen better and began to do better in life. I don't this affect influences one race, people all over the world are affected by the status you receive when owning a luxury handbag, watch or car. This article is an interesting read but I believe if a person wants to be successful and educated they will not worry much about the status quo, but will study more and try to succeed which ever way possible. Is this just another marketing tool to persuade consumers into buying luxury brands? You an read the article here
